Launched in 2020, this program empowers girls aged 9โ€“16 through weekly sessions on health, leadership, and academics.

Sites & Groups:

  • Ford and C-Section

  • Naledi (ages 9โ€“13), Langa (ages 14โ€“16)

  • 96 girls total (48 per site)

Young Gentlemen

Since 2021, this club has guided boys aged 11โ€“16 through life skills sessions focusing on identity, leadership, and positive values.

Highlights:

  • Weekly sessions

  • Topics include peer pressure, respect, social responsibility

  • Quarterly birthdays and annual outing

Community Support Programs

We empower vulnerable children, youth, and families through various supportive and educational services.

๐Ÿ‘ถ ECD Safe Park Daycare Centre

Founded in 2019, the Centre offers safe, structured early learning for children aged 2โ€“5.

Features:

  • 38 children enrolled

  • Monthly fee: R150

  • Meals provided via The Lunchbox Fund

  • Activities, field trips, birthday and graduation events

๐Ÿ“˜ Homework & Student Support Program

We help learners from primary to post-matric level with:

  • Daily homework sessions

  • Free Wi-Fi and 20 donated PCs

  • Application support for college, TVET, and NSFAS

๐Ÿท Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) Program

This initiative raises awareness about FASD and supports affected children and caregivers with:

  • Community education campaigns

  • School placement

  • Medical and psychological referrals

  • Caregiver training and home support

๐ŸŒฟ Growing Together Gardening Project

Started during COVID-19, this program tackles food insecurity by supporting 43 households with:

  • Seedlings, tools, and training

  • Promotion of nutrition and sustainability

RUMS Program (Refugees, Undocumented, Migrated, and Stateless Clients)

The RUMS program, launched in 2023 and expanded in 2024, supports vulnerable individuals who lack legal documentation. It aims to help them access essential services and legal recognition.

Key features:

  • Assists with processes related to documentation, citizenship, and identity through the Department of Home Affairs and Childrenโ€™s Court.

  • Staff trained on legal procedures to guide clients more effectively.

  • Provides support tailored to refugees, stateless individuals, and undocumented migrants.

๐Ÿ  Door-to-Door Outreach Campaign

Our team of Social Workers, Auxiliary Workers, and Childcare Workers provides door-to-door support to families across Duncan Village. Services include:

  • School placement for unregistered children

  • Grant application assistance (Child Support & Foster Care)

  • Legal aid for refugees and stateless individuals

  • Trauma debriefing and family therapy
